Dear hifians,

I am looking for def tech speakers. Anybody has experienced? ProCinema 1000 series. Please share you experience.

I have been using Deftech prosub for a long time. Its fantastic.

Which AVR are you using? Would it work with Denon 1713.

Also I have found that in can purchase in parts. Currently planning to buy pro monitor 1000 and then add remaining later. Do you have complete package?

Ashwin where are you from? If you are from Bangalore, then you can audition the Deftechs at Music Ranch, Jayanagar. The Deftechs are great systems, i have heard the pro-cinema 800 and the sound from such dimunitive speakers was unbelievable. I have heard some of their towers as well and they are a treat. The towers have built-in subwoofers, so no need of investing in a sub. The center speaker was a monster too. At that time it was above my budget but in hindsight i think i should have gone for those towers.

Friend of mine first bought a pair of Procinema 1000 as fronts and later he added Procinema 600 5.1 as surrounds for his 7.1 setup on Marantz AVR NR1602. I heard those speakers and they produce great sound and the little sub gives a good rumble. Pro 600 are little smaller than Pro 1000 but still give the same great sound. I am planning to buy the same setup.

I think room size is approx 15x17.
