I am wanting to Delete / Block my own HFV account and did not find a link for the same. Don't know if one exist.

Moderator: Please disable / block my account permanently.

I take this opportunity to thank all FMs for being associated in this wonderful forum.

Cheers,
Hari.

This is saddening, Hari. Please do reconsider.
I do not know what has transpired for you to wish to take this drastic step, but I do believe the good hugely overwhelms the bad out here.
Please stay.

Hari, I hope all is well in your world. But as Naturelover suggested, please do reconsider. Things happen and we move on so instead of block/delete account permanently, you can take a break (if really necessary). I believe things will get better.

Hi,

I had posted in july that "I have not come across a single thread on any forum where any good comes of discussing cables" and it looks like that should be an axiom.

Am a relative noob here, but have to say I agree with naturelover.

ciao

Hari,

Cable issue is quite a tricky one, every where on every AV forum, ours is no exception.

But 'Cables' is not all AV , there are many interesting subjects/ topics where one can exchange thoughts/ideas / share experiences.

I think we all are lot bigger / mature and stronger to withstand/ignore couple of unpleasant comments made / exchanged.

Every one is respected here, every new ideas is welcome here, certainly there are many areas wherein differences of opinions do exist but that's the way we all learn and grow. If everybody starts thinking the same , then we don't need a forum to discuss.

So my sincere request to you to reconsider your decision.

Why do you need to delete the account?
Just change the password to something obscure, forget it, and never return to the forum.

I've followed your posts since long.

Of all the similar forums I've come across, HFV is way ahead in the quality of FMs and information available.

Please reconsider.

i am afraid that option ( to my knowledge ) is not possible with HFV.

the best thing to do will be to log off and take a long break extendable to a permanent one - if you wish.

good luck !

regards

Don't leave, Hari. There will always be heated discussions in an open forum like ours, and one need to take it in our stride. You are a valuable contributor and many have benefited from your knowledge and insights. Continue to be the reality check in the cable debate:thumbsup:
