Denon 1200W Vs Yamaha RXV 581: Which One?

The sub and surrounds are independent of brands. But make sure the Fronts and the Center channel is always off the same brand.

For example:-
Fronts: Wharfedale 220/225 Center Channel: Wharedale 220C
Fronts: Dali Zensor 1/3 Center Channel: Dali Zensor Vokal

Be it any other brand, ensure to go for the same brand center channel and also off the same series.
I would advice to read more in this forum and do not forget to take a demo before deciding to make the purchase.
Carry your kind off movies and music, listen with different speakers and avr combo and decide.
All the best.

Thank u sir.. also for adding sub,i heard that we need to check frequency of the front speaker like that. I could not understand it. I shortlisted wharfedale d10.. does it blend with these speakers??

I think you are speaking about crossover frequency which is a setting that you will do it in the AVR.
Do not worry about that for now, go ahead and purchase an front and sub of your choice. Later you can seek help from the forum members for setting the crossover frequency which is not a big deal at all.
There are various sub available in the market, it depends on the budget. Wharf D10 should go well, I dont see a reason why it cant.

Onkyo India proudly says on its website that no warranty and no service for products purchased abroad[emoji45]

I am fully aware. Happened to Browse Onkyo India site many a times before placing order. When I bought Optoma HD141x from USA some two years ago, again through online marketplace, I was a bit scared. Even if I purchase a third party AMC for 10k for 1 year, the cost of this AVR shall still be 40k less! The older 747 is listed on Amazon India for something around Rs. 1,11,000/-.

But then you never know your luck, nothing happened to either Yamaha or the Optoma in the last two years. If my bad luck, no warranty shall cover.

Hi pranjandas,

Sorry for the Delay response as I was sick. I have not auditioned 757 as it is not released in India. It is an International Model. Is it 220v model or 110v US model? Anyway congratulation on your purchase. I hope it will sound great.

Thanks and Regards
Sujit

Hi Sujit. Thanks for your response. Confirmed with the seller, they will ship 240V Indian standard compatible model as using a step down transformer might adversely affect the sound quality.

Good deal @63k for Onkyo 757. The difference in price wrt India is quite a lot so warranty status does not matter, if it is 230V; makes the decision no brainer.

Congratulations on your purchase, update us with a brief review once you get it. Do upgrade to a better Sub and Center as soon as budget permits.

From where did you order the AVR? Thus your final price include custom charges too.

Cheers!!!

Amazon.com (Amazon USA)

The options were:

1. Amazon USA with International Shipping
2. Amazon.de (Amazon Germany) with International Shipping
3. NewEgg
4. Ebay.Com

1 seemed to be the best in terms reliability, price and availability of the model. Amazon collects Shipping Charges if any as well as tentative custom charges along with the price of the product at the time of placing the order itself.
