Folks- I have a denon 1312 AVR with 3D pass through, 5 satellite speakers from Denon and a sub woofer. This was perfect for my 14 X 10 room . Now aim moving to a bigger house and the living room is 15 X 19. Would the setup be enough to deliver the punch needed or any changes required?

The sat/ cable input is not working on my AVR and the mechanic tells me i may have to shell out 25K for the entire input panel and they can't get this repaired for a single port. True ? need advise pls

Try using the system in your room after that you can decide. I feel it must be enough for that room. Sat/cable is that HDMI input on avr?

I have the same system and i am getting that red light flashing issue when we power on the AVR. Now if i need to watch anything, I need to reset the AVR and use..

I feel the setup should be okay after the basic auto setup and your own personal tweaks.

Regarding the hdmi port, what are you doing right now? Are you running short of inputs ? If it's for TV you can redirect the hdmi cable to the to and use a coaxial or optical output from the set top box and feed that to the receiver. Receiver's pass through will not work in this case and as an additional step you will have to mute the tv when using the receiver.
