a design that has been created by spending billions of dollars and whose ultimate aim is to kill or make money is also fine...
but designs that have been crafted through patience and sculpted by the wind and the water and age are something else...like this beautiful bonsai..or Japanese gardens..
i am fascinated by Japanese garden designs and concepts...Japanese gardens may not explode with colours but they exude serenity, functionality, grace and elegance that is hard to replicate with other concepts..besides they are low maintenance..
and yes the bamboo, the possibilities with it are endless...

Agree with Moktan about Japanese gardens. Whoever dreamed up Bonsai is a
genius.

Among other things, a design classic is simple yet elegant, enduring and have
created a new segment or significantly raised the bar for whatever it is doing and so on.

Remembered a bunch of things which could fit here - Honda Cub, Mazda Miata,
(maybe the RX-7, and the original Honda CVCC Civic too?), Alec Issigonis' classics (Morris Minor, Mini).

Core memory, 555 Timer, bunch of chips by Bob Widlar (ua702, LM100, LM101), Zilog Z80, Apple I, C, Unix!

B&W Nautilus - One of the most innovative designs.

Suzuki Hayabusa - Still the superbike!

Harley-Davidson V-Rod (Already posted but deserves another mention)

Enzo Ferrari supercar

Lamborghini Miura - Still considered the best Lamborghini by many.

Lamborghini Countach - Successor to the Miura.

Bvlgari Serpenti - Imagine that on a beautiful woman's wrist!

Hiten, you beat me to the Victorinox Swiss Army Knife and Ray Ban Aviator (I also like the Ray Ban Wayfarer, another classic). As regards Apple, every one of their designs are iconic and worth a mention, dunno where to start though .
