Ok Guys, I think that I have almost found the holy grail. This shop run by one Mr Mukesh seem to have the best prices in town and he says, if I can find someone else giving a lesser price, he will price-match that too. But none till now even comes close!
Below are the prices I got for Samsung and Sony LCD. I will be buying only 32" but 40" price I got just to post here.
All 32" Samsung come with Airtel SD and 40"+ comes with Airtel HD. Some headphones for sony. All with bill and 1 year respective company warranty.
Samsung:

C450 - less than 27k but bit unsure
C480 - 27.5k (Same as C450 with 800W sound and woofer) :clapping:
C530 - 31k
C550 - 33k
C590 - 33.7k (Same as C550 with 800W sound and woofer) :clapping:

^^^ Above shop is not suitable for demo. The displays are limited to 32" and very few 40" if any.
Do your homework on bigger stores like Reliance digital/Bajaj and finalise the model. Get a quote from this guy and compare. Then decide.

Oops. Error in first post and I cannot edit now.. It was the price of C530 I got in bajaj electornics. Not C630.
800W is PMPO walue of the speakers. Basically they have better speakers and a sub woofer. Had a demo of C480 and it pretty much stood out from C450.
Difference between C550 and C590 is 700/- and you get better sound. IMO, the sound enhancement is worth more than 700/-

Buddy till date I used to think I was the KING of the best bargain deals and the best possible prices on lcd's / plasmas. But today you got me here. I have been researching on tv's and their best prices for the last six months in NEW DELHI. Till now I have not seen anyone getting or posting better prices than what I have as quotes on this forum. But as I said earlier you got me here today. I have been waiting for someone to quote better prices.
Some of the prices mentioned by you specifically for Samsung are totally UNMATCHABLE.
As reported by Asni - the price for 50c450 (52000) is something I have only been able to achieve after in exchange for my 15 year old crt. This is after seriously hard bargaining from some of the dealers. I am trying to get the 50c450 tomorrow. If anyone knows a dealer who could give it for 52k without exchange here in Delhi, kindly do let me know.
Anyways thanks man for this very useful post. I just want to add that if someone is getting these prices for Samsung lcd's / plasmas here in Delhi just go for it. These are the lowest.
Friend just need another advise from you. In addition to the 50c450 I am getting another tv from Samsung - 32c450 (Hd ready). I have also seen the 32c530 and 32c590. I could not make out any difference at all between the 450 530 and 590 in pq. I dont think full hd tv's are of much use in 32 inch sizes. I am not short on budget but just cant understand the logic of spending 5k more on 530 / 590.
Also that 450 and 530 still appear quite sleek to look at but the 590 (because of the big backside speakers) looks like a fat ugly duckling. I mean it actually quite thick than a normal lcd.
I personally dont think 590 is the most decent (stylish) looking lcd around.
Do you really think I should also be considering 530 / 590 instead of 450 for a difference of 5k.

If you are planning to use it as an occasional computer monitor, Yes. Because you will be sittting much closer. Like ~2 feet. From this distance, typing characters and word documents etc look much sharper. Will be helpful in reading the screen.
If not, Save the 5k! You will not see the difference even if you have the eyes of god.
BTW, I saw the the C480 and it has better sound than the C450. Infact much better bass. Useful if you are wall mounting in bed room (where you cannot deal with wires and external speakers).
C480 and C590 also misses on the 'touch of colour'. It is plain black and yes, looks like ugly duckling on table. These two will be suitable for wallmounted areas which has constraint for external speakers.

balabala, that issue has been resolved to quite an extent by LG. It is non-existent now. Add to it the changes LG is ready to make through service menu and the picture is fantastic.
With the money saved, get the highly rated and WHF 2010 award winning Sony BDP-370 for ~9.5K plus the free 320 HDD on offer with PK550.

I had zeroed in on coupla models Samsung 40C650 and LG 42LD650. at one of the shops i was convinced that samsung model is better than the LG one. And then I also liked the Samsung LED UA40C5000. the prices offered were
UA40C5000 - 65K
40C650 - 62K
All Samsung models get free Airtel HD DTH.
I am still undecided. Do share your views and suggestions.
