DVD Player+Amp to connect JBL subwoofer+speakers

I have a JBL HTiB DSC500. Now, the DVD Player is not working and tried from different service providers, couldn't be made up. Now, I am looking at a DVD Player or Amplifier to be able to connect to this so that i can make use of the JBL subwoofer & the speakers.In the JBL, DVD player there's a socket called System Audio Output which is connected using a special JBL provided multi-pin cable to connect to the Subwoofer and all the 5 speakers are connected to this. Please suggest.
