I mentioned iPOD since its one of the best player out there. Else what other options do we have for a decent audio player to complement this DAC ...
WD TV, Squeezebox Touch ..????? any suggestions here ...
I will be connecting this to my Polk Audios via Onkyo AMP

I didnt get any response on this query, iPOD connectivity is not working out.
How about Squeezebox touch. Since E10 takes only USB in as the source, is there a way to connect SBT to E10 .. ????

I cannt get to decide the source for e10 .....

Friends ...

I think I have made a mistake with E10 DAC, it takes only USB as input and I am not planning to use my laptop for a player. I was hoping to get a squeezbox touch or some other dedicated player. But SBT does not have USB out.

Fiio E17 has SPDIF in and SBT has coxial out ... so that would work ..... right!!! .

But I already have ordered e10. I dont think Hifi Mart has any return policy ..... damm!!!

If you wanted a squeezebox box touch you don't need an external dac, the sbt dac is pretty good

^^ Well I can have SBT, now anyhow. What do you suggest as a stand alone player ...... being with only USB in the DAC seems pretty limited in my opinion ....

Thought to update that my E10 USB DAC came yesterday. Connected it with my Polks with my laptop as the source and Foobar with wasapi as the player and I am please to announce that there was a pretty noticeable difference, as against when it was playing from my HTPC directly ....

The only thing is, I am not going to use my laptop as my source player ...... I need a good source player. I still have not got any solution/suggestion/recommendation as to what should be my approach. SBT is what I was interested, but it seems there is no way I can connect it with E10 ....
