Hello Folks,

I am looking for some advise.

Best economy HT speaker system to go with Yamaha RX-V685. I am looking for a 5.1.2 setup and my budget is a lakh. My room size is 15 (length) X 15 (Width) feet and height 8 feet below the false ceiling.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Cheers

Consider getting dual subs for a solid movie experience.. For speakers, you may choose one among the brand who offer you good deal..

Try this Setup Yamaha NS F71 + NS P51 + Yamaha Dual SW300 . I have the same setup with RX-V 585 .

You may need to spend a little more for Front Heights Speaker .JBL control One is an option

How's the performance of Yamaha Dual SW300 ?
Edit: sorry for OT.

I dont have a Dual Sub setup sorry . You can refer the Yamaha Speaker owner thread there you can find an answer to your query .

For one lakh you should be able to get a good 5.1 system. Check out polk signature series, good for movies and pro fx will give very good discounts. For your room size dual sub will be good. There is a dual bic pl-200ii on sale may be get one for a good deal and add one later. Bic f12 is also very good in a dual set up.Other budget options as already mentioned by FM's Taga harmony and Yamaha

All are good but I would strongly advise you to get a better sub. A sub alone will spoil ur entire set up. You can just finish a 5.0 set up and save somebody money and add a sub later.

Just have a relook on the Sub as this will not satisfy your powerful Front Speakers.

Not Nessasary to go for a 5.1 good stereo system is enough too since budget low. Go for a Good stereo and you will have better Music and movies experience

Thanks folks and I have got them fixed. But I am having serious problem in syncing my Sonya Bravia KDL 55W800C with my Yamaha RX-V685.

The connection is made from ARC between the AV & the TV; but no sound is coming. I guess I need to get the right settings; the installation guys were also of no help.

Please help. Thanks
