Epoz Aktimate Maxi ??? Comparison

Hi All,

Im looking at the Epoz Aktimate Maxi system.
I have read many reviews saying how great it sounds for the price.
My question is does it just sound good for an iPod dock ? or would it compare to something more traditional like some Wharfdale Diamonds 10.0 or other similar sized speakers hooked up to an amp equating to be about the same price as the Epoz Aktimate Maxi's ?

Im just trying to keep the system small enough but still have decent sound.

From the reviews I have read, Aktimate Micro/Mini (old) trump Wharfedale 10.1 / Polk TSI / Usher S520 with amps/receivers in the sub $400 range.

So unless you want to spend over $1000-1500 or Rs.50,000-1,00,000+ on a receiver plus 2.0 speakers, Aktimates would probably be better or at least as good but cheaper.

I suggest you go for Aktimate Mini+ over Maxi, it is comparable with slightly lesser base but is 2/3rd the price.
