Buy Now is a must watch. It's not a series but a Netflix documentary from one of my recent watches. It talks and even visualises an important problem with mass consumerism and waste management.

Very Good. Love, Death & Robot kind. Not all episodes are on same level. But excellent nonetheless. Must Watch types.

im also rewatching Watchmen (series) on Hotstar...amazing cast, story...most importantly, soundtrack by Reznor/Atticus!! of Nine Inch Nails fame...also soundtracks by this combo has been super-fun...lot of dark atmospherics and often some dance beat thrown in....other soundtracks by this combo include Girl with Dragon Tattoo, Social Network...both cds are super worth it.

While Panchayat has taken over internet with mixed reviews and mean memes, Nobody seems to care about Squid Game 3 considering S1 was global rage. Damp squib s2 might be the reason?

Squid Game S2 is one of the rare occurrence when I left something in the middle. 😥

A John Wick-ish kind of story but with couple of moments with guns and a bit of gore.
7 episode - completed on a weekend bucket list.
8/10 ( i.e from a person whose affinity is towards Action/Sifi. so, your mileage will vary )

I am a fan of Michael Connelly. Have read all his books. Watched Bosch, Bosch legacy & Lincoln Lawyer series. Surprised to see Ballard (Rene Ballard). Checked it out knowing ti is a spin-off of the iconic Bosch, and it shows right away: the atmosphere, narrative structure, and visual style are carefully carried over from the original. Everything works in the familiar key - restrained, dark, and refreshingly unflashy. Lead is Maggie Q of Nikita fame! She is an actress who masterfully combines steely resolve with emotional depth. She's magnetic, compelling, and perfectly at home in the action genre. Very nice casting.

Starting watching, dropping everything else and finished two episodes out of 10. Ballard heads cold case department of LAPD. Bosch appears towards the fag end of E2. Must watch for all Bosch / Michael Connelly fans!

 
Watched two seasons of Fartblinda a Swedish Financial/crime/thriller. The lead played by Julia Ragnorsson is an financial investigative journalist who is having an affair with the director of the bank that she ends up investigating. With such a premise all characters having their own shades of grey, the first season was a very interesting watch. The second season went a bit wayward but still engaging.

Searching for a good source (with eng subs) on the high seas for S3. Suggestions/help welcome!
