FiiO K11 + RCA to XLR for JBL 305P MkII – Is Balanced Necessary?

Hey everyone, I’m looking for a DAC/amp for my JBL 305P MkII monitors and considering the FiiO K11. I know it only has RCA outputs, but since my setup is just on my desk with short cables, I’m wondering if RCA to XLR cables would be fine or if I’d benefit from a fully balanced DAC.

Why I’m Looking at the FiiO K11:​

• • Has its own power supply, so less chance of USB noise.
  • Type-C input, which makes it easier to connect to my phone.
  • Comes with a headphone amp, so I can use it if I get headphones or IEMs later.

Would RCA to XLR work fine in this setup, or am I overthinking the need for balanced outputs? Also, if anyone has other DAC/amp recommendations in this price range that would pair well with my setup, let me know!
