So let me tell u the whole story
Started off with the idea to get a home theatre, as usual like most of was thinking lets ho for sony.... and then came a liggt of knowledge from a cuz in usa.. he told me to go for eeciever and some decent speaker set....
Due to budget constraints i had to wait long and finally went to market and got this wen it allowed....
Auditioned the denon plus boston xs5.1 also thw same speaker set with yamaha rxv373...but found that the center was not that good... and as baiju suggested me ht shud hv solid centre and a nice woofer....so i asked for a bigfer speaker system...
There came wharfedale ms100 as rupam bought that and ba a2310... auditioned both with denon 1513 first...sound was quiet warm.... thw base was good but was nt getting the feel of dinosaur roaring in jurrasic park 1.....
Then he connected boston a2310 with yamaha... the sound became brighter and clear.... loved it at the first instance...could feel the rain drops falling around me in the same jurrasic park scene... was a instance that i wanted it that very moment....but had to give a try for wharfedales as well..... played it.... but i dnt knw if it was the way wharfedale was set up there...the woofer started vibrating noises.....but the surrounds of wharfedale were nice.....
So movie testing was done... now comes music.....
Boston was far better than wharfedales in that section....the treble the bass the highs the lows....amazing.......sound tracks listened to.... TAAL THEME, HOTEL CALIFORNIA AND AMPLIFIER BY IMRAN KHAN......
Now comes the pricing.... got yamaha reciever rxv373 for 21K and boston a2310hts for 36K
Sorry not a detailed description but i made the decision since i wanted something which was 50-50 for music and movies...and this one was the closest in the budget i had
