I’ve inherited a Fisher RS-1056E receiver.

When I turn it on most of the lights turn on as-well. However, no sound comes from the thing and the Am/Fm strength meters are dim with the needles stuck in place.

I’ve opened it and saw that two fuses were blown on the bottom. I replaced them, and like expected, they blew again. I’m no expert with electronics so I was wondering if you all had any idea what where I would start looking for issues.

There also seems to be a yellow crud around what I assume are capacitors.

Thank you all for you help.
