Hello. For anyone interested I just came across this. I have downloaded them but not played them as yet.

you will need a DSD capable DAC in conjunction with the listed software players to enjoy DSD, else these will be down sampled to PCM (16/44 or 24/96) on regular PC/Mac defeating the "claimed" superiority of DSD over PCM

Will these play on a SACD compatible player like the Pioneer 450 or Oppo?

Heard the new firmware for Oppo 105 allows the BDP to play DSD files off USB otherwise normal SACD players will not play these files.

There is a way to play these on PS3. you can create a DSD-Disc which can be played on PS3 - the catch, however is that PS3 decimates DSD to PCM (guess to 24/188) which again defeats the whole purpose of DSD.
