Full home theatre suggestions under 1.5-2lakhs

I stay in the US where home theaters setups are more easier to find and also cheaper. Looking to get a home theatre room setup for my parents back in India and am finding it quite hard to meet budget requirements. It appears that I need to spend 2-3x for a similar setup and choice of products are quite limited as well.

Specs: Ideally 7.1, but can do with 5.1, projector (4k ideally, but can do with full HD), projector screen, receiver, sound proofing. Ideally Dolby Atmos, but can do with DTS/X. This will all go into a dedicated room (around 15feet x 15 feet) in their home, just for the home theatre.

They are aged, so not looking for anything very fancy (or) too loud/overwhelming. Ideally looking something that is more bang for buck, easy to operate and give a nice surround sound experience like a movie theatre.

Any suggestions for setups? Or where I can easily browse selections with competitive pricing (AVshack/AVstore?)?

2 lakhs for a 7.1 atmos setup with a 4k projector is a tall ask in India. In USA, it can be done relatively easily but prices are much different here in India and the second hand market is trash, so to speak.

How big a screen you are planning to have? How is the lighting control of the room? How far is the seeting distance? A rough Pic/diagram of the room layout should help a lot in finding the best combo for you.

Optoma projectors have terrible quality control. If possible, get a decent 4k projector from US on Black Friday and take it with you when you visit them.

Iam using Optoma 28e from last 3 yrs. Never faced any issue

Screen size would be standard whitescreen for projector (so 100-105inch). This would be a dedicated room with controlled lighting, soundproofing.

Is it easy to carry a projector from the US without dealing with customs/import duties? Have you had any luck?
