Going to Bangkok, need to pick 2 TV. Suggestions ?

Hi, me and 2 of my other office staff are going to Bangkok for 4 days. We are a ISP in Bhubaneswar and we need big FullHD or 4K 40 inch and 55 inch TV for office network monitoring.

We are 3 guys and target is 40 inch 2 FullHD LED or 4K and one 32 Inch FullHD LED.

Is the costs really cheaper in Bangkok ?
And how tough is getting it with us from Bangkok to India ?

Extra baggage charges ?
Custom duty ?
Anything the custom people harass ?

why take headache and chance to get all that bulky stuff and not get warranty too ?

all said and done... its a pain in the rear side to lug equipment from abroad.

+ you will be charged 36% duty on TVs. Even if they are within the official purchase limit.
The Customs folks have realized it, albeit a little late !

Buy from India and take extended warranty. Don't take risk.

Upto 32" tv,
Its a great deal to get it from there.
But for bigger ones, buy in india. Better for warrenty issues.

Till 32 inch ... buying from Bangkok will be good option. you will get it damn cheap.

Full HD TVs in India cost around 30k INR .. you might get it at 50% of indian price

Philips will be cheaper .... not sure about Sony ...

Samsung might be cheaper ... You can visit a shopping center and find out best options
