Good budget speaker for Yamaha RX -V6A

Being able to Drive 100W (8 ohms) when 2 channel driven.
I'm concentrating more on the LR and sub to have a 70:30 usage of music over movies.

I have shortlisted two speakers in my budget.

Option 1:
1.Elac debut 2.0 B6.2 (LR)
2.POLK HTS sub(10 inch)

Option 2:
1.Wharfdale dianmond 12.2 (LR)
2.Polk HTS Sub (10 inch)


Kindly provide in your opinions as this is my first HiFi setup. Request your help.

I'm from Chennai. But unfortunately I cannot audition both of these brands.

I don't like the bright sounds .For example how Klipsch sounds is not my cup of tea.

I guess, you don’t go wrong with any of the mentioned choices. Elac is known for power hungriness. So whaferdale would be my choice. You may also include qacoustics 3020i or 3030i to the list and if possible, audition them.

The problem is there is no service center in Chennai for Wharfdale . We will have to ship it to Mumbai for any servicing in the future..
