Hello to all Hifivision-ites
Its been interesting reading the number of posts on these forums. Impressive too - to see that a search for 'speaker amp power matching' on google shows up this site in the first 5 links !
I have recently begun to lament my choice of a Sony integrated DVD-amp in 2004.... I spent about 65k on a Sony DAV-S300 and Tape Deck. I wish I had read through this kind of a forum in those days :-( .
Well, better late than never !
My introduction to audio happened when I was 14 years old - at Mumbai, at a friends' place. He was an audio engineer who built his own Amp and Speakers - they sounded so awesome, that I decided to learn Electronics Engineering and do the same..... Now its another matter that I never as much as bought a solder gun so far.... I moved towards computer administration since then...
Now, I wish to pursue the old dream...once again...
Maybe make, may be buy.... but definitely try and listen to something better to begin with
So, here I am .. to learn, and begin from the beginning again.
Cheers and thanks for the wonderful community.
