Got my new Panny 50V20D

Got my new Panasonic 50V20D from Devi @ 64K. Many thanks to all the help I got here. We surely are happy with the TV. Now its gonna be the fight for the remote
I initially got the TV from Panasonic Showroom Rajajinagar, they had sent me a used tv and it went back in 15 minutes. Devi delivered a new TV as promised. I am yet to get my 2nd & 3rd year additional warranty card, will have to pick it up myself. The should have delivered this too. I need to go all the way to Jayanagar from Hebbal just for this.

Now to get a DTH connection, this seems a tough choice between Tatasky, Airtel & D2H...with so many issues between them

I have dish and Dish I saw many bad reviews on HD and too many upscaled channels.

Damn! I didnt think of that . I wasnt keen on 3D so wasnt bothered. I guess I faltered big time here. The difference would have been so small.

Average cost with 2 pairs and Tata sky HD+ is around 75k and one pair and TS HD+ is around 68k.
The glasses cost ~9k seperately.

Edit : I myself got the set with 2 glasses and all usual stuff @80k. Prices are going down for the last few pieces.

Just talk to Ramesh from Panasonic at Devi. Insist that you should be given a Tata Sky HD+ not to mention the Wireless Keyboard. Don't budge. He'll cave in and give it to you.

Don't forget your warranty card.

The thing is Panasonic has all of these on offer for their current models (for diwali). Rather than give you a big big discount, dealers will try and coax you to take the freebies. Since we all got them for the VT, you should have no problem with the V20.

I just checked with the sales head of Devi (please redirect purchases for Devi to get best offers through group buy for HFV member). They are saying V20 and ST30 is currently out of stock.

Are you sure they are giving TS+HD as I am told by Croma that offer is not valid in Bangalore.
