We have a Ganesh Mandal pretty close to my home and this is actually the time of year when i am introduced to some very entertaining and loud bollywood music and hence can hardly listen to my gear for the week!

Is the Ganesha festival celebrated with as much zest in places down south like bglore/chennai or even up north in Delhi like it is in Maharashtra?
