i am happy with soundmagic pl30..1200fiio bundle is there with lynx i guess .Much better than creative ep650. comes will all type of earfits ..

20-30rs extra than std rate for 40$ item i think
 
kaushik, I too use a soundmagic pl30 and find it quite decent.

anm, no idea about paypal. I usually 'outsource' the payment process to my good friends.
 
hmm actually I wanted to outsource to a friend but I need to pay him as well. How do I send money? ICICI seems to be charging INR51 for 1 canadian dollar, which I think is a rip-off.
 
GB is not seen to succeed ... any ways to save 200Rs why to wait , price is already low considering other good HPs .

but couldnot wait just ordered over ebay.... if u can provide the modding kit with HP that will b great.. any possibility to get a "banzai CMOY" amp ??
Ebay seller has it with good opamp and parts ... i will do a wood cabinet design ...
also i need two 9v rechargeable batteries ...do you have these?

Any reason why you went specifically for these headphones over the others (RE0,Ultimate Ears, senheisser ) etc? Was it the cost/performance ratio?

i will take one by one ...
- IEM department is closed with PL30 ,bigger HPs have
a different sound signature ,comfortable

( with unwanted odd/geek looking audio maniac looks!! )
-cost and DIY modding makes HD681 sound much better than the other options till (??)x1000 Rupees (rockgrotto) , after listening i will tell
- my assumption that upto 2k shen/UE etc have basic phones/iems that are almost like general consumer or DJ type model (for eg HD202)

Well Looks Like a Good Amp .Might Be After Some time once i get the website in shape and start to concentrate on Hifi DIY products i will get one and then custom redesign a pcb and source components locally .
 
Amarbir, you may look at readymade good amps from chinese/ hk companies. I am planning to buy one from ibasso. You can also look at importing schiit.

HD681 with Deep low frequency
For an On stage sound = classical music & large ensembles (jazz?)

HD681F with Flat extended frequency response.
For a Front row sound image = pop music and vocals

HD681B with Balanced character and powerful bass punch
For an In hall feel = rock music / exciting performances

i think bass punch one (HD681B )will do good , i like HD681 if the lines are true !
