Hdtv for PS3 & 3D Bluray within 100k

Hi. I am new to this forum.

Want a best tv within 100k for ps3/ps4, 3d & Bluray Movies.

My requirements are not that much but it should strictly have 3d (passive or active doesnt matter). 1080p is a must :-D

Currently shortlisted these tvs

1. Panasonic P50UT50D
2. Panasonic P50ST50D
3. Sony W800a 46"
4. Sony W950a 46"( pricey but can stretch my budget)

Passive 3d is good or Active 3d?
Please Elaborate as i have a lot of 3d movies and this tv is going to be with me for a long run.

Why not a 3D projector if you are using it for watching movies only? For immerse 3d experience you need bigger screens.

go for 46w950 or 50st60 both are good.Infact for games w950 is too gud input lag is very less.Additionally it got opticontrast panel which is mind boggling stuff to watch.

In LED
Sony W802A - is having around 17 ms of input lag as stated in display lag . best for games .

In plasma , as per my knowledge

St60 is having very high input lag around <60ms- as per the avsforums however i do not know whats the real implication for that much of lag . it may be visible in 3D gaming .

Samsung F5500 will suit for games - having apprx 38 ms input lag which is good from gaming perspective .

Stick to SONY LEDs if you are a gamer. Try W800/W900/W950 for lowest input lag. Keep way from Plasma if game is the priority

In some games, lag is not a matter of high concern. But if you are a fan of Call of Duty or Halo then stay away from ST50/ST60 or plasma units for that matter as input lag is as high as 60-80 ms.

Pana models you have shortlisted are not available at stores. The new series is 50ST60, just started slowly to arrive at the stores.
Out of the other two, 46W950 is surely the best in terms of PQ and processing power, but as you want it for gaming, the input lag issue shall be of concern and you should get something, which will not have noticeable lag (browse international reviews for this input).

i highly support baiju..
why settle in a tv..when u need a special screen..not the daily use primary screen
why a tv..
at 1 lakh u can get epson 6100 projector..optoma hd 20..all full hd
and fairly powerful so full dark room is also not needed
u need a dedicated space wall..yeah..bas

50 inch or 65 even are pretty small for that theater experience...

Hmmm interesting. I can stretch my budget to 2lakhs. So please keep your suggestions coming. I want setup HT from scratch. IF U KNOW WHAT I MEAN.
