Does anybody have any information or working knowledge on this amplifier - Heathkit Solid State Amplifier Model AA-14.

Thanks greenhorn. Yes I am as well aware that these are kits that enthusiasts used to build back in those days. This one is from the US. Infact I have got all the build documentation used for this amp. I plan to put this up for give away shortly.

Decent entry for someone into our hobby, hope the person who gets it does not bother with fancy speaker cables & IC's though :D

Is anything dated? This might be forty years or more? If it is still working well, then that is a wonderful thing in itself.

In its day, I think it might have made stereo possible for those who could not have afforded any other way.
 
A monthly DIY magazine called Electronics Illustrated used to feature the Heathkit range of offerings. The magazine was brought out by the publishers of the equally well known Mechanix Illustrated, Fawcett Publications.

Your amplifier seems to be from the 1960s and well assembled.
