Oh, well! couldn't resist writing the word audiophile. Sounds cool, doesn't it?
Anyway, I am new here, however not new to this passion. One of the greatest drawbacks in this pursuit is that one rarely finds likeminded people. Let me give an example. When I finally took the plunge and bought myself the Senheisser HD-800, I had to tell my wife that it cost me Rs. 20,000. She blew her lid hearing 20K. Imagine if she knew what it really cost. On the other hand, the HD-800 got one of my friends drooling. Well, that's the way it is.
I was at the Headphone connect last Sunday and was surprised to see the attendance. It was seriously gratifying. I could walk the talk. And finally I auditioned the Audeze LCD2 and 3 and the LCD-x. Man, now I know why the entire planet is abuzz with discussions on Audeze.
I have two types of gear, one is a two channel audio system and the other is the portable rig. I could probably describe them, but it would take too much space. A new post perhaps.
I am hoping to connect with people like myself who loves music and the way the music is delivered.
Regards,
Subhankar
