hello friends...need help for HT..I am from mumbai

Hello all...
I am from mumbai and a movie and music enthusiast..but i am pretty new...i want to set up a a Ht for my 10 x 12 room...please give suggestions...
1) Music 60%
2) Movies 40%..

I am open to experiment..like... I can go for seperates(although i don't have much idea..learned from this forum only).. iam on a tight bduget...around 40k..

also where i can audition in mumbai...

Hello and welcome to the forum. Going for separates (if you mean pre-pro) in that price range looks quite difficult to me. Well you can go for a good HTiB from Onkyo, Denon, Pioneer, Yamaha, etc and it will fit your budget too.

Go through the threads in the amplifier and speakers section and you will find many of posts with your interest, as well details on auditions in your city.
