Greetings all. I'd like to start my membership with a question if that's OK. I am currently having refurbished a pair of JBL L96 speakers which cost me $0! Repair is about $400, so I'll end up with some nice boxes at a good price. My amp is a modest Yamaha R-S300 @ 50w p/c. It's currently driving B&W DM2 series 1 and they sound pretty fine in my 3.6m x 3.6m room. Question is, is that amp enough for the JBLs or do I have to save up? The sensitivity is 98db and the literature I've read online suggests I might be OK.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Cheers, Goanna
