Dear friends,

last week I upgraded my topaz AM 10 to Azur 351 A. I am impressed by the clarity, detailing and precision of the amp. however there is a small problem. One of the corner bush on the bottom,on the back (rightside) is not touching the surface.if you place a small folded paper,it is fine. May be due to my perfectionistic nature this seems a trouble for me.Is it ok? please suggest.

To me this seems okay, nothing to worry, a small piece of rubber may be a better damper instead of the paper. The two major reasons for rubber feet is 1) electrical separation of the body / chasis from the surface in which it is placed and 2) damping any vibrations (may be a subwoofer thump or caused due to moving the stand / table for cleaning etc) that can otherwise loosen any component (although not everything inside is plug and play and I assume mostly soldered) and 3) Anti-Slip. If you have palced things on wooden table then 1 is taken care of but 2 and 3 unless you will be moving here and there with the stand ./ table you should be fine with just a paper support.

hello haisaikat
thank you very much..I consulted a friend who is running a cd shop and he told me that this happens in many cases and suggested a rubber mat beneath the bush...done it and problem solved..peace of mind..:)
