help me to calibrate my onkyo s3500

hi friends,

i have recently purchased onkyo s3500 from delhi. Actually i live little far from delhi so can't get customer support easily. I got this system demo and the sound was awesome. But when i placed this system at my home connected with reliance hd connection, i could not get that sound as i got during demo. I called them and asked about avr setting they told to keep front speaker +3db, centre at +5db, subwoofer at +10db and surround speakers at +12db. but not so much change.
i have connected HDME cable to DTH to avr and avr to samsung led. and i have connected my TV to Onkyo avr with digitle cable.

Please help me.

You will get the 'awesomeness' only when watching HD channels with true 5.1 dolby digital siund. But sadly reliance has no 5.1 sound either through hdmi or digital out. You can enable virtual surround like dolby prologic for getting a pseudo 5.1 effect.

i have connected optical cable only but sound is not upto that level i mean i am not getting surround sound

it wont show DD...anyway you try dolby prologic 2 or dts neo cinema...also run auddesy...and yes the awosome ness can be be only had if source is good.like original dvd/blu ray/DD sound from stb..thats true fro any machine how costly it may be....

this model does not have auddesy. Please suggest shall i change some db level for speakers or some other setting in receiver. i have installed in a room size 12 X 13 feet.

reliance HD has dolby sound for HD channels.

your stb output is not in dolby, so u dont have anyother option . if possible change it to videocon and try

3500 is latest than 3400...and not having audsusy...:sad:
ok then...ask visdeocon customer care...also check remote setting whthere the DD is via hdmi or optical....if they dont have its better to change to hear DD from airtel,videocon,tatasky...
or wait and save money and get a blu ray player
