Help Needed To Get Best AV results From Yamaha RX-v671 & Wharf 9.5

Hello All AV Guru's

Starting a new thread here as coudn't fine any related to AMP configuration.

I have recently brought Yamaha RX-v671 & Wharf 9.5 (5.1 Set). :yahoo:

Please help me tuning my AMP / Speakers / Sub to get best sound hyeah:

I am using 14G for FS and 16G DAC cables 10 DFS & DAC Sub cable.

Run YPAO calibration a couple of times and this should give you the best possible integration of the 5.1.

If you are a little adventurous after running YPAO. fine tune the bass setting, Front Fb etc by Ear or SPL meter

Thanks for reply...... I had done the YPAO calibration but wasn't feeling Sub in my room......so did some R&D and its better now.....maybe speakers / sub are new so take little time as ppl say let them burn for 100 hrs..... ?

so meanwhile though to check in this forum to get better tips / tricks to tune

Yes the 9.5 does take some time to settle in.

Try the Sub woofer crawl to find the optimum position for the Sub.

A Google Search should give you some cues on how to go about the "Subwoofer Crawl"

Okies.........although I have kep the SUB in the corner with little distance from corner wall......but i ll search on Subwoofer Crawl more :-D
