Help needed regarding warranty of laptop

I had purchased a hp laptop g6 2005ax via flipkart on july-14, I was given only tax-invoice of flipkart which acts as 1 year warranty however when i wanted to avail the 2-year extended warranty for my laptop, I called flipkart customer-service no. they told me to login to the site hp- back to campus but they also told that hp extended warranty can be availed only within a week after purchase of the laptop. Now since it's already 21 day, i want to know how to extend the warranty for my laptop for the 2nd year and 3rd year.

Mostly within the existing warranty you can purchase the extended warranty. I was able to get the same when I purchased my HCL laptop way back in 2007. I purchase the extended warranty around 10 months into the 1st year warranty. HP should be giving the extended warranty try to speak to customer care directly at one of there offices rather than over the phone.

I second manniraj.
I extended my HP laptop warranty 2 years after initial warranty expired . It didnt help much, as laptop was mostly in ICU for that 1 year warranty and immediately after that it died.

But wonders can happen if you talk to customer care
They must extend(its extremely profitable for them as most laptops are designed to last 3 years min, and only 1 year warranty is usually offered initially), talk in person.
