Help required with PIONEER BDP-320

I have recently purchased a Pioneer blu ray player (BDP-320).well everything is just fantastic,the 1080p resolution and the dolby true hd and dts master audio.The biggest problem comes when i play original dvd's purchsed here in india english movies only)from music world,planet m etc.the player shows an error which says incompatible region code.But it is playing all other dvd's---hindi purchased locally and other english dvd's which have been purchsed from usa and europe.
Is there a way to break the region code for playing dvd's from all regions.
Note:i am talking about dvd region code and not blu ray code.i only want a solution to make it region free in order to play all dvd's.

I would be more than delighted if anyone on the forum especially the senior members can come out with a solution please.

So yes, its possible. Keep looking.

Also noticed that you have a Pio 410. How does the upscaling compare between the 320 and the 410?

Thanx for the reply.i will certainly try to find other available solutions as well.regarding your question for upscaling the BDP-320 is excellent but i prefer letting the av reciever do the upscaling.What i have done is connected all my sources to my Harman kardon avr 355 i.e:blu ray player,dvd and set top box thru hdmi to the reciever and then a hdmi goes from the reciever's monitor out to the pioneer kuro panel.

For this purpose u need to have a good av reciever which can do the upscaling and upconversion effectively.The effect is superb but is expensive because u need to have all the equipment with correct configuration to give u that wow effect.

Quick query: where did you buy the Pio 320 from? Your profile says Delhi, so I am assuming it was somewhere in Delhi. Or have you imported it from the US, etc? Also, what price? Did you find any option for a zone-free and region-free Pio 320 in Delhi? I understand that while DVD region-free merely requires a firmware change, making players zone-free requires a hardware change.

Found a site that does the mod JVB Digital, Codefree Pioneer BDP-320 DVD modification kit for 10k Rs.
but no self-modification. It also says that the modification is a hard install (hence no diy)
