I am looking for a 32" LED in a budget of around 28 K which would be mainly used for watching TV, USB Movies, Youtube videos. I had zeroed on the following models of smart LEDs:

LG 32LB582B;
Panasonic 32AS610D

When I went to look for these models in the shop, I found that LG model does not have IPS panel. The panny model had IPS panel but its contrast and color richness was less than the LG model.

Now, I am in dilemma which LED should I go for. The LED should also be able to play as many USB movie and audio formats.

Suggestions please.

Hi

Every Tv manufacturer is trying their best to survive in the competitive market where each one is bringing out new technology and features to make the consumer happy. The bottom line is to decide what connectivity and features you would like to see on the TV, and most importantly is the budget....i would say the ultimate most important thing is warranty.

The forum has some posts where some members have purchased the biggest brands which are expensive and have failed in just a year related to display issues or screen problems.

As for me my requirements were quite simple and the Toshiba PU200 series worked well and is still surviving for more than a year now without any hiccups.

It has dolby digital and reads a 1 TB external hard disk with no issues at all and plays all formats...end of the day buddy it is your call as you will go for what appeals to you in appearance and performance.....do a lot of window shopping and demos....decided wisely

Panasonic model mentioned above comes with 2 year warranty while LG gives 1 year.

Request members to provide feedback, reviews etc. for the LG and Panasonic models mentioned above.

Thanks
