Hi,
Please advise:
I need an amp and set of speakers budget in total is R40k
Heard about the Anthem 225 and Valve Audio Predator, how do they compare and which is better?
In speakers how does the Paradigm 11 compare to the B & W 683?
What other recommendations do you have?

for speakers you should definitely listen to the monitor audio rx6 before you decide. imo in that range its arguable the best out there. once you decide on the speakers you can look at a suitable amp to match

Anthem is good choice with 225WPC, have you considered maintenence/servicing options with brands. After listening to anthem with sonus faber and paradigm, when i went to listen to NAD375BEE and PSB synchrony two Floorstandards. I could not believe my ears. PSB synchrony is far ahead in sonic quality in terms of money of the similarly priced speakers.You better do audition anthem with synchrony and lets what happens...synchrony has only one rival and that is B&W...get the audition..before you finalize anything...

Hi,
thanks. I auditioned a NAD 356BEE with Mission MX5 speakers and the sound was phenomenal. How does the MX5's compare wirh the B&N 684/683's.
