20 is no prob, but even 50 is possible, as we can do two drawing rooms - one each for av and stereo. Alternately, we can use the clubhouse if the group is even larger. So keep those confirmations coming.

I'm very happy with date as 2nd - now Ruenigma, Sachin, Mubeen, Sono are all in, so it's like a proper hfv pune meet !

2nd December suits me too and will be joining you guys from Mumbai.

I will be getting two of my own creations. Both will be prototype models and not production units,
K300B-TL with the kevlar cone and silk dome tweeter
K100B-TL with the paper cone and silk dome tweeter

Will be glad to have the comparisons with other brands and feedback from forum members.

Once again request all coming to confirm the gears that they will be bringing along. If not bringing any thing, no probs, just enter your name in the list anyways stating the same.

As per the thread, it appears that we have sufficient amps/speakers/DAC's to cover the meet, maybe 1-2 additional CD players needed? What say gang???

I propose the following:

1) We arrive by 1030-1100 am @ Viki's place, introduce ourselves & get cracking on the listening session. We must try to avoid wasting time otherwise we will run short of time & miss out on hearing all the gears that will be available at hand. Hence sincerely request all to be on time!!!

2) This time we will do away with the questionaires being handed to all post listening session of each set-up. Instead, the MC & maybe another 1-2 persons jot down details of the components of each set-up & post listening session of each set ask all present whether they liked the synergy & if any 1 component they liked that they would want to hear paired to another set-up. A simple Yes or No answer will save us precious time I say

3) Start making up a list of gears that we should pair, before the meet takes place. This way we know exactly what we want to hear before hand & thereby avoid wasting time!

4) Take as little time as possible for deciding on lunch & take a consensus beforehand from all attending about what we should order for lunch. No Domino's Pizza's this time PLEASE!!! :lol: Also, we will all contribute to the expenses born for lunch/refreshments, that is the best way for all to enjoy together & not burden anyone

5) Request all attendees to bring their choice of music be it on CD/HDD/Pendrive. We shall play a couple of tracks for a bit so that each one gets to hear his choice of music, that he knows well & that based on his listening impressions decides what set-up/individual equipments he liked based on his music. Essentially we shall play more variety of music this time rather than same tracks so that we avoid boredom/listening fatigue of listening to same tracks over & over again.

6) Camera Coverage!!!!! Guys good with photography/good camera's, PLS put up you hand & do the needful, as it will be most appreciated by 1 & all :clapping:

I now request all to contribute with their opinions / suggestions based on my proposals above. Based on them, we should have almost every angle covered so that WE SAVE TIME DURING THE MEET!!! hyeah:

It is an HFV meet to be held in Pune. Any one can attend. Most welcome. As you can see, even Mumbaikars are attending.

I am using naim cable only. I will bring them with me.

I have paired naim with ATC scm40. Unfortunately cant bring them. To haevy to take from mumbai to pune.

I am also bringing M2tech Young Dac along with palmer external power supply. Power supply is must for young. It takes performance to different level.

I request all joining members to put their pairing preferences in the xls file asap,(I see some feedback cells are blank), so we will know how many Demos will be done and how much time for each demo should be budgeted. We may choose to give more time to certain gear-combo's over the others, if that combo turns out to be everyone's favorite.

What say guys? Please chip in with your opinion.

It appears that we have sufficient gears now for the meet, now we need to do justice to all gears available & play them for a satisfactory period of time to get better idea on them.

As for HT, I see FM Flash has given options wrt AVR's, what we now need is the 5.1 speakers to do justice for HT Demo, otherwise it will make no sense, what say HT experts????
