As per the thread, it appears that we have sufficient amps/speakers/DAC's to cover the meet, maybe 1-2 additional CD players needed? What say gang???
I propose the following:
1) We arrive by 1030-1100 am @ Viki's place, introduce ourselves & get cracking on the listening session. We must try to avoid wasting time otherwise we will run short of time & miss out on hearing all the gears that will be available at hand. Hence sincerely request all to be on time!!!
2) This time we will do away with the questionaires being handed to all post listening session of each set-up. Instead, the MC & maybe another 1-2 persons jot down details of the components of each set-up & post listening session of each set ask all present whether they liked the synergy & if any 1 component they liked that they would want to hear paired to another set-up. A simple Yes or No answer will save us precious time I say
3) Start making up a list of gears that we should pair, before the meet takes place. This way we know exactly what we want to hear before hand & thereby avoid wasting time!
4) Take as little time as possible for deciding on lunch & take a consensus beforehand from all attending about what we should order for lunch. No Domino's Pizza's this time PLEASE!!! :lol: Also, we will all contribute to the expenses born for lunch/refreshments, that is the best way for all to enjoy together & not burden anyone
5) Request all attendees to bring their choice of music be it on CD/HDD/Pendrive. We shall play a couple of tracks for a bit so that each one gets to hear his choice of music, that he knows well & that based on his listening impressions decides what set-up/individual equipments he liked based on his music. Essentially we shall play more variety of music this time rather than same tracks so that we avoid boredom/listening fatigue of listening to same tracks over & over again.
6) Camera Coverage!!!!! Guys good with photography/good camera's, PLS put up you hand & do the needful, as it will be most appreciated by 1 & all :clapping:
I now request all to contribute with their opinions / suggestions based on my proposals above. Based on them, we should have almost every angle covered so that WE SAVE TIME DURING THE MEET!!!
