Hi I am new to hfv

I want to buy home theater setup my budget is 65k
My room size is 12x20
preference for music 60 & movie 40

so far I had auditioned onkyo 608,508, with hts 728 , tannoy mercury v4,elac,energy & denon 1312,1611,1911 with polk tsi300/400,rti a7,wharfdale 9.5,9.6,obsidian

I liked tannoy, wharfedale 9.6,tsi 400
i liked rti a7 but it's price is out of budget

i don't want to compromise for front and sub
so what to do ??
one salesmane advised me to go for 1312 and spent more on speaker and suggest me to go for wharfedale 9.6
I asked him that is 1312 capable to drive 9.6 or tsi 400 he said there would be no problem
I also asked him that is there any possibility that speaker get damage due to connect with 1312 receiver (75 x 5 ch)
in profx site this receiver shows the capacity of 110w per channel
what is the right capacity of this avr ??
and should I go for this receiver ??
one more question

I have a philips audio system fw v785 which has 120w rms in 2 ch at 6 ohm
so can i connect wharfedale 9.6 with this system and how can i connect this system with receiver??


and also suggest me what could be the steal price for
wharfedale 9.6 / tsi 400 / tannoy mercury v4 ??

Hi! Nirav,
Read your post. I have Boston Acoustics VR2 Floorstanders (New) & Tannoy Mercury V4 (1 yr old) spkrs. I am looking to dispose of the latter(tannoys)even though i love their performance,simply because there is not enough space for both in my living room for 2 sets of spkrs.I can offer them at Rs 16000.But problem is I live in Hyderabad......!
