Hi to everyone. This is my first thread.Just registered.I have been following this site for quite some time and it has helped me a lot. The amount of information shared by the fellow members is awesome. So I decided register to become a member of the community.
My Query - I recently purchased Sony BDP S 370 Blu ray player and connected it to my Sony 26 inch lcd HD Ready (S26A10) via component as my lcd does not have HDMI. Kept the resolution to 1080i and even 720p. While playing dvds the display still shows 480p. So I dont know whether the player is upscaling the dvds via component or not. While playing Blu rays the display shows 1080i/60. Can somebody help me?
