haha yh, I'm thinking of DIYing a pair of Bookshelves and the amp too, will be finishing that by end of this year, so needed to be here to ask u guys abt it.

what is with the sansa, I mean, like the shelf life of product is too much, since 2 yrs they havent updated the line. Besides, most of the products online are refurbished, and in India, what abt the warranty?

abt the Cowon, J3 [email protected], should I go for it?

And what abt Creative XFi 3?

well they do update the product...

initially it was the sansa clip with jog dial..

then came the clip+ with OLED display

and now its the clip zip..

even if they update the line i doubt the bump in audio quality will be noticeable from such a product. however the end point is it plays flacs out of box..has fm and takes external storage for 30 $ its the best pmp you can have.

if you will use stock oem and stock presets the sansa will outgun the cowon. with custom presets the opinions changes..

sansa + rockbox is amazing combo if you want to fiddle with a 16 band equalizer + lil extra battery juice..

i have mine on dual boot.. i still prefer stock for the frill free setup.

creatives/philips go gear.. stay away from them...

get sansa.. dump the earphones.. get a good set of IEM's
