+ 10 to that. Don't let it go. At worst get a carpenter to clean and polish the wood and just place it in a corner of your HT room as a show piece. This is priceless.

Yes, its working. Platter rotates and music can be heard. Problem is the needles. Old needles are rusty and I am not able to get new needles.Is it working ? if you windup does the platter rotate ? if mechanism is working its worth restoring. But be carefull, the spring may get broken if you windup too hard.
