If you are not using any AVR - it’s a simple direct connection either through HDMI or RCA with your TV. The reason that with RCA you are not getting the audio could be - either try increasing the volume control - and ensure it is not in mute - try this on both your TV and Dish Remote ....if it doesn’t resolve - chexk settings audio out on the set top box - and finally just reboot the set top box - hope this helps
