Hello Experts,

Going through the forum , i could found the expert's opinion very much relevant.
Please help me too.

I am getting an option to get Brand New HTS 9520 @21-22k INR. Could you please tell whether it's is worth buying?
I have budget of 20 k only.

If not this one , which one is should go for in this range?
My basic needs are:

= to get the songs played form ipod
= connect to 32" LCD
= watching movies via laptop

Thanks a ton in advance!!

I recommend an AVR based HTiB like the Onkyo 3500 or Denon 1312XP. Denon 3400 should be available for around 25K. If you are lucky you can get it at still lower prices. The AVR has lots of connectivity options which are not available in consumer brand HTiBs. Connectivity is very important when you want to connect DTH, Blu-Ray, PC etc.

I had bought the Philips HTS 5530 HTIB. I returned the same put in some more money and got myself the Yamaha 196, Stand alone AVR with speakers is any day better then a mass market HTIB. Also there are major connectivity issues at hand. But at the end of the day it all comes down to your budget. As suggested AVR based HTIB's would be an ideal choice considering your requirements. Onkyo HTS 3500 is available for 28k ..Yamaha 196 for 21K.
