I'm a newbie here although I have been reading the posts on HT systems for quite some time. I now need specific recommendation on my requirement.
My setup is something like this:
1. Room size: 25x12 but it is drawing+dining+living combined (and there is an additional foyer of 8x9 attached to this space if that matters)
2. Appx 2-3 movies per week + daily tv watching .... Plan to use the setup for music also
I have gathered from my reading till now that buying avr and speakers separately is recommended for better SQ. so I have outlined the following models for demo In near future:
AVR
i. Yamaha V373 or v371
iii. Denon 1513:
Speakers
i. Yamaha NS-P40
ii. Jamo S426 HCS3
iii. Boston Acoustics Soundware XS 5.1
Request the experts to comment on these choices or any other modes that could help me get the best possible pkg for about 40k.
Btw, the system is to be setup in Bangalore but I'm in Mumbai till this month end and can buy things here and ship for free if buying in Mumbai makes more sense.
Also need some reco on shops to do demo in south central Mumbai area.
