Home Theater Suggestion Needed

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum and have no prior knowledge abt Home Theater systems.

I'm planning to buy a 5.1 Home Theater in the next 2 weeks. My budget is around 45k. Looked around and found the following 2 systems within my budget in Bangalore.

1. Yamaha YHT 2910
2. Onkyo TX-SR 313 + SKS HT528

After listening to the demo, I'm inclined towards YHT 2910. Going through forums, looks like Denon x500 + BA xs5.1 seems to be recommended by quite a few people. But I don't know where I can see a demo of this combination in Bangalore

Can you please suggest me a good system within this price range.
The primary usage is for Movies and occasionally music. My living room size is 11'x19'

For demo of Denon X 500+ BA XS 5.1, you may visit Reliance Digital, Cunningham Road, Bangalore. They do have both though separately. You may request for hooking up BA with X500. I had visited there on 21 Oct 14. You may also consider Marantz NR 1402+BA XS 5.1. its a very good combo.

If movies is on your priority list look at denon avrs. They provide good performance with Polk audio speakers for movies. Marantz avr will also do with Boston acoustics and will perform equally well with music as well as movies.

In my opinion BA XS 5.1 are better than Yamaha 2910. I own the BA system with yamaha amplifier and auditioned 2910 at the time of purchase. The quality of subwoofer in BA is miles ahead. It is a bit lacking in music i.e stereo imaging.

You may request for hooking up BA with X500. I had visited there on 21 Oct 14. You may also consider Marantz NR 1402+BA XS 5.1. its a very good combo.
