Home Theater Under 2L

All ,

I am looking for a good Home Theater for my living room .
Size of room is 18*24

Auditioned so far

Tannoy VI 4 with velodyne E maX Sub -

High on Bass. Good for Movies as it as Good Boom Effect (because of the high end Sub)

Tannoy VI 4 with SVS SB1000

Auditon was good but overall Tannoy itslef is high on Bass

Wharfdale10.6 -with velodyne E maX Sub & SVS SB1000

Sound is little warm , Excellent for Music but not that great for Movies


Any other suggestion/recommendation . I am planning to do a audition of Acoustics 2050I as well
My pref watching is more of Cable TV and Movies and less of music (80/20)
All the Audition was done with DenonX2100

Kindly Suggest other brands which can be auditioned in bangalore.

What are the components you are looking under 2lakhs? You have mentioned only about the floor standers, what about centre and surrounds? Are you planning to setup a 5.1/7.1?

I am looking at 5.1 and didn't actually check on what is the rear speakers
I am looking at receiver ,sub and 5.1 speakers . I am going to use with my
42 plasma for now .

Okay, for a 5.1 setup Denon x2100 will be an overkill. Am not sure what particular feature you are looking after, but you will rather spend more on an AVR instead of good speakers which is not a good idea keeping your budget in mind.

Look at this combo.. Yamaha RX477 plus Q Acoustics 2050 fronts/ 2000ci centre / 2020i surrounds / Velodyne EQ Max 10 sub. This is an impressive package for both movies and music.

For a budget of 2L & 80% of movie watchings, you don't need a big FS...

My suggestion would be to get a 9.2 AVR since your room is also quite large & complete atleast 7.1 setup if not 9.1...

Ideally a 9.1 would be good and can take full advantage of your room dimensions...

For AVR take a look @ Marantz SR 7008/ SR 7009, Onkyo TX NR 929... Speakers you can look for satellties (or) Book Shelf Speakers...

Thanks but I have all the conduits done for 5.1 set up
And everything is concelsed in pop and this is fory living room
. For now anything other 5.1 is not an option .

I was looking for hdmi pass through ,4k scalability
Playing music via Bluetooth and Internet in amp .
If 2100 is overkill I am ok considering other amp as well .

If HDMI 2.0
Then go for marantz sr5009/6009/7009,
The last number 9 is.so important and.it denotes tge.model is of 2014 and will serve u 2.0.functionality

I myself got sr5009

This AVR is particularly so gud with Dali Zensor

Now most of the receivers have network features, you can add a good bluetooth adapter if required to AVR (That's how am using with my Pioneer VSX-922).
