Hi Anirudh panwar
There is no issue with the Yamaha 196....as mentioned by others it is indeed an entry level Home Theatre system....it is definitely better than going for the compact Sony or Panasonic or LG or Samsung models available within 20k....
I have used Yamaha in the past and found no issues. You may want to upgrade to a Blu Ray player later...would recommend you go in for Pioneer BDP 150 as it is a 3D Blu ray player which plays all formats through discs and even pendrives / external hard disks...
I currently use a NR 1402 + Boston Acoustics Soundware XS 5.1 (this is available on Hifi Mart as NR 1504 + Bostons and cost almost 51k odd) with a Pioneer Blu Ray player. The experience is awesome and good value for money. Ofcourse I did a lot of research over the internet in terms of reviews and videos to make sure that I am headed to the right direction. I have used different systems for the past 11 years (Yamaha / Pioneer / Harmon Kardon / Denon / Bose) and not found anything sounding so great and awesome than the Marantz ... I will upgrade soon to B&W speakers (CM series or 600 series).
The speaker wires, HDMI cables, subwoofer cables ofcourse need to be purchased separately. would recommend monster or in India MX cables are just fine...It could be possible Reliance / Vijay Sales / Croma etc would be selling other Home Theatre packages of Yamaha...you need to see what appeals to you and your budget.
Hope this helps.
