Home theatre set up : Kolkata

Hi,

I am setting up a home audio system from scratch in Kolkata. The room size is about 250-300 sq ft.

I have installed one Samsung Smart TV (40K5570 model).

Looking for suggestions on amp / receiver + speaker + configuration (2.1 / 5.1).

Ideally need a CD / Bluray player + receiver + speakers.

Budget between 1-1.25 lac.

All suggestions welcome.

Mainly music. Listen to almost anything from classical (Eastern / Western) to Rock / Metal to HFM to Jazz to Folk.

For mostly music stereo setup more desirable. It will work for movies too.
One possible combination will be marantz 5005/6005 CD player, marantz 5005/6005 integrated amp, wharfedale diamond or q acoustics floorstanders.
Subwoofer may be added if you feel the need after listening to 2.0 setup

Due to aesthetics, may have to settle for wall mounted speakers eventually.

Any recommendations there?

You can look at polk signature series s15 or s20 bookshelves which are wall mountable. Demo available at pro FX.
Also dali zensor 1 are wall mountable.
Others may be there too
