How to buy a region 'A' 3D Blu Ray Player

Any pointers on how to buy a 3D BD with region code A in India or any region free 3D players available.

What I can think of is
1. Request sm1 to get from US etc but not possible in near future
2. Ship from Amazon,guess wd be expensive

Any ideas, pls share

AMZ is shipping BD players directly to India.

Shipping via amazon cost only $22 +.and varies on the model and price of the player + weight.

Cheaper as of now is Panasonic DMP-110 which will workout to $112.

Please note that if you purchase thru shop your world or 20north also, the price will not exceed 10K.

Sony S380 Region A (malaysia make) available at Alfa Mumbai w/o B&W.
S380 is not 3D, but u can try S480 there with region A.

Both these players along with 310 hold very high regard on US/UK forums. 20north or AMZ + Aramex might turn little cheaper if Customs can consider it as gift.

I completely forget abt step down transformer, that's a hassle i need to consider/ May be I should also check Singapore/Malaysia to save on step down cost.

BTW, which is the best 3D BD player, if it provides good features, I don mind increasing my budget. Don't want oppo and such heavy ones.

Please also check if the Region A Panasonic DMP-BDT110 and DMP-BDT310 are compatible with 50 Hz content before ordering. The DMP-BDT210 is not compatible. This means that it will not be able to play 1080i50 content (e.g. Planet Earth - Special Edition UK version) even if the discs are region free.

Search before you suggest, i always try to give an lowest/cheapest suggestion(advice giving is easier and free- so lowest)
