How to make Sony BDP S360 BD player region free

I have purchased one Sony BDP S360 BD player from US last month.
I was not aware that these players are having region code and we can not use them in India.

Can some one tell how to make this player region Free to play DVDs and BDs?

Hi,

AFAIK, there is only DVD hack available for this player and no blu-ray hack. I have had this player for a while before my friend took it. i think this applies to all sony blu-ray player including Ps3.

Try this one Sony BDP-S360 region code - DVD Players and Blu-ray Players region codes - VideoHelp.com. I had tried this but in vain.

You are in a Fix, MODs on Sony players are pretty tough, try the options provided by idlebrain or svenket,..........should have gone with Panasonic DB60/80.

So far I tried all the options and so far nothing worked for me.
Waste of $175 ...

Mukesh, look at BDs very carefully when buying them from the local market. If they're multi-region, they will play on your player.

There are few discs that are not multi-region and those are clearly labeled as such. stay away from those as those will not play in your player.
