How to play BluRay rips on BD player?

Hi,

Could someone pls help by telling me how to play BluRay rips downloaded from the net on my Panasoninc BD player. I transferred the 8GB file on my pen drive, but the BD player does not recognize the file.

player exact model pls.... in all probability its just the question of player not supporting the media file or codec ....

Its a Panasoninc BD-75...could this be due to the fact that the file is too heavy to be read from a pen drive...just guessing

Check the manual whether it can play NTFS files from USB..If it still cannot play then your need to mux the file with MKV merge 3.0.0..I believe your downloaded file is in MKV format..BD75 can play MKV files.

Page no 6 of your players user manual says, USB (MP3, MKV, JPEG), up to 2 TB, so that clears everything .....

Please check the type of file you have (both audi and vedio codecs and container) and post that info hereso that we can help you. Use media info or similar software on your computer. Many MKV files don't play on the stand alone players because of audio incompatibility.

Sorry...been travelling, hence the delayed response.
I recopied the file on the pen drive & tried once again...this time it played..but no video/audio..can see the status on the screen...nothing else...pls help!!! Belo is the a/v codec of the file:
