Netflix was working absolutely fine on my Samsung KU6470 (55" 4K) until recently - when I try to switch on Netflix from the installed app and my TV screen just blackens / Goes dark as if the TV is powered off. The moment I press the Menu button from my TV remote the TV screen returns /switched on and I can use a different source to view whatever I want (except Netflix where the problem persists).

As per the suggestions online (that I reinstall Netlfix app - install it again and then log in my account) - I tried to remove the Netflix app from my App menu but I think that just removed the app as a shortcut from the App menu but does not permanently unistall the app from the TV. I also tried to restore TV to factory settings but somehow Netflix always stays there. I say this because the moment I search for Netflix on the Samsung Apps store and try to download it again - it does not take show anything that is related to downloading it afresh and the Nteflix icon appears in a second on my app bar with my Netflix account credentials are already fed in. Can someone please suggest the steps on how to completely uninstally Netflix from my TV and then reinstall it afresh (by logging in my account etc.). I have also tried to reinstall Netflix on my other device (Iphone) but it does not solve my TV issue, though Netflix works absolutely fine on my Iphone.

Will appreciate all help here. Thanks

Try from an Android mobile via casting and see if it works.

If it's a system app then it cannot be uninstalled, and TVs rarely get f/w or app updates.

The easier workaround is a Chromecast and casting from a Google Home or mobile.

My LG has it's own OS, not updated, and most apps including YT don't work.

Using Chromecast + Google Home I'm able to cast anything, and it works much better.
